Mudgee Rd Tambaroora

Location: View south from the Towns Northern Boundary
My Comment: This view has been taken from the northern end of town looking south.
The end of the white building in the distance in the left of centre of the image is on Lot 2 Section 3, it was a store known as the Telegraph Store originally owned by Mr. Edward Long up until 1865, then purchased by Joseph Stephens and Harriet Beard in partnership as part of the insolvent estate of Mr. Long. On its right on Mudgee Rd is a small bridge in the centre of the image, the bridge is shown in the sketch shown on the Title Plan T.10-1710 for Lot 1 Section 3. The roof of the Royal Hotel, the only two storey building in Tambaroora can be seen right of centre of the image. The ground on which the buildings in the right foreground are located down to the northern side of the Royal Hotel was hydraulically sluiced and no longer exists.
This image can be seen in the "Town Views Menu / Mudgee Rd from Northern Town Boundary" which shows identified buildings. (653)
